QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred candidates must be knowledgeable about the curriculum for Early Childhood and Elementary students, effective practices and interventions that promote student achievement, and effective interventions regarding teaching and learning.

 

JOB GOALS: To work with teachers, students, and parents to promote student achievement.   

 

TERM: 190 Days on Teacher Assistant 7.0 Salary Schedule

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Serves as a support in the coordination of interventions for students.
  2. Works with the identification of students experiencing academic difficulty.
  3. Tutors students in small groups.
  4. Co-teaches when appropriate.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.
  6. Works with others consistently in a professional, cooperative, and respectful manner.
