TITLE: Media Specialist Assistant

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Post secondary training in technology. Keyboarding ability and demonstrated  aptitude for the work to be performed.

 

REPORTS TO: Media Specialist/Principal

 

JOB GOALS: To assist students and faculty in the effective use of the media center.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assists in the total operation of the Media Center at the discretion of the Media Specialist.
  2. Assists students and faculty in the proper use of the Media Center materials and equipment.
  3. Assists in the processing of materials and equipment for the Media Center.
  4. Performes routine clerical duties.
  5. Maintains the confidentiality of patrons.
  6. Abides by all aspects of the Copyright Law.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned by the Media Specialist or Principal.
  8. Works with others consistently in a cooperative and respectful manner.

4. Two (2)references that are familiar with your work performance (at least one professional). You MUST provide emails for your references via the application process.
