QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. Preferred proficient in computer skills and Meal Patterns and Nutritional Standards for K-12 students: Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations as it pertains to K-12, First Steps, Head Start, and Early Head Start Food Service Program, How to apply for Grants, HACCP Certified, Nutrition 101 Certified, Six Cent Certified, and Serve-Safe Certified, Follow Procurement Guidelines when Ordering Food Service Equipment. Have working knowledge and requirements of USDA and State Programs; School Breakfast Program (SBP), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), After-school Program (ASP), Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP), Paid Lunch Equity (PLE), Community Eligibility Program (CEP), Direct Certified (DC).

 

 REPORTS TO: Director of Food Service

 

 JOB GOALS: Preferred proficient with Nutritional and Point of Sale Software System, Image One and assist with the operation of the department to Food Service program consistent with all local, state, and federal regulations.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Training Unit Leads and Associates.
  2. Maintain the POS System and the Computer Scanning Software for Food Service.
  3. Complete On-Site Cash Handling Food Service audits, (FSMC) Food Service Management Company Audits, (SFSP) Summer Food Service Program Audits, and (CACFP) Child and Adult Care Food Program Audits at each location. Food Safety Reports.
  4. Verification Guideline and Procedures.
  5. Direct Certification Program Procedures.
  6. Assist in insuring accurate CRE and AR audits.
  7. Verification of cash handling procedures.
  8. Works with others consistently in a cooperative and respectful manner.
  9. Complete Grant Opportunities as it pertains to Food Service as it pertains to food service in all schools.
  10. Oversee and Maintain Kitchen Computers, Printers and Software in all schools.
  11. Order, Tag and Inventory all kitchen equipment in all schools.
  12. Complete small wares inventory yearly in all schools.
  13. Complete monthly Invoice between the District and Chartwell's.
  14. Claim ALL Meals monthly to the State Department and DSS for reimbursement for Spartanburg School District 7.
  15. Help in the kitchen if needed.
  16. Submit Grants Claims Monthly.
  17. Complete HAACP SC Operation Assessment.
  18. Work with DHEC to make sure all our kitchens are compliant and maintain a grade A.
  19. Maintain all Student Doctors Script as it pertains to special diets and allergies.

TERMS:  12 months

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in compliance with the Board’s policy on evaluation and professional personnel.
